Working equitation originates from Portugal, Spain, France and Italy it is based around the use of horses to work cattle.
In competition there are three phases.
1st phase, Dressage
2nd phase, Ease of handling ( obstacles)
3rd phase, Speed round ( obstacles at speed)
Clinics are based on the Ease Of Handling phase ( obstacles)
Obstacles include,
Slalom, gate, barrels, rain back bell, sideways pole, bridge, cups jug and everyone's favourite The Bull.
Working Equitation is a great way to build on your partnership with your horse. Also great education and so much fun.
Lessons of tailored to each individual horse/rider combination. Everything is broken down and explained.
Lessons are suitable for all abilities.
